Brian needs to raise a minimum of $5,000 from 20 states to qualify for federal matching funds in Election 2008. In order to qualify for these matching government funds the minimum requirement is for our campaign to raise $5K from at least 20 states. An additional dollar will be given by the federal government for each dollar raised, anywhere in the country, not just in the 20 states... (i.e. $100K raised plus $100K federal matching funds; $125K raised plus $125K federal matching funds; or possibly $150K raised will gain another $150K in federal matching funds, thereby totaling $300,000 for the campaign!).

Start your state's efforts to meet its goal! Even if your state does not achieve the $5,000 level, if we do in other states, then your donations will still be doubled because of our qualification status.
