Brian needs to raise a minimum of $5,000 from 20 states to qualify for federal matching funds in Election 2008. In order to qualify for these matching government funds the minimum requirement is for our campaign to raise $5K from at least 20 states. An additional dollar will be given by the federal government for each dollar raised, anywhere in the country, not just in the 20 states... (i.e. $100K raised plus $100K federal matching funds; $125K raised plus $125K federal matching funds; or possibly $150K raised will gain another $150K in federal matching funds, thereby totaling $300,000 for the campaign!).
Start your state's efforts to meet its goal! Even if your state does not achieve the $5,000 level, if we do in other states, then your donations will still be doubled because of our qualification status. Brian Moore Will Present How to Transform America---From Capitalism to Socialism
Candidate Says Barack Obama and Democrats are No Socialists!
Spring Hill, FL, Wednesday, October 22, 2008:
Socialist Party presidential candidate Brian Moore will speak on "Socialism for America," on Friday, October 24, 2008, from 1 to 3 PM, at the new Spring Hill Branch Library, 9220 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, Florida 34608. (Main meeting room).
Moore will address the attributes of Socialism, its rich history in the United States, how it compares to Capitalism and how the United States can transform its economy to a socialist economic system in the next four years.
The socialist presidential candidate also accuses both major parties of misleading the public about socialism; plus, he says Obama and the Democrats are No Socialists!
Charles Jay, from the Boston Tea Party, another minor party presidential candidate, will also be in attendance, accompanied by a British television documentary team, filming third party candidates in the state of Florida. Moore said he will attempt to invite Mr. Jay to defend the capitalistic system during Moore's presentation.
